In May 2013, the African Union adopted the blueprint and master plan for transforming Africa into the global powerhouse of the future. Agenda 2063 is the continent’s strategic framework that aims to deliver on its goal for inclusive and sustainable development and a concrete manifestation of the pan-African drive for unity, self-determination, freedom, progress and collective prosperity.

Inspired by the United Nations Declaration on the Right to Development and the African Union’s Agenda 2063, the Chamber of Businesses of African Descent was formed as a non-profit entity for the purpose of promoting the sound economic well – being and empowerment of Africans and people of African Descent globally.
